What is SLF?
The fundamental invention in the heart of Sequential Lateral Flow (SLF) is the ability to guide the flow of different liquids serially through a capillary medium, without overlap, after being simultaneously loaded into their dispensing wells. This seeming ‘unnatural’ behavior is obtained through careful matrix selection and design of the flow chamber, exploiting material properties and maximizing their physical effects.
SLF solutions are based on a unique capillary flow device that is able to perform an automatic sequential synchronized lateral flow conducting a full EIA assay. The device is made of common material and the controlled sequential flow is based on the inherent properties of the device and do not require external energy, pumps, valves or magnetic beads.
